This family-owned real estate company was founded by my grand father in 1942 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Originally launched in the '90s, Régie Braun's website is undergoing a complete makeover thanks to our efforts to meet the needs of today's users with a rebrand and redesign.
Throughout this project I have been working closely with another designer/front-end developer as well as with a backend developer.
Collaborating with another designer, we're crafting a new Design System for the website's overhaul, alongside significant UX enhancements. The project's cornerstone is optimising time-intensive, manual tasks through a refined UX/UI layout especially for the rental part of the website, streamlining the overall user experience.

Régie Braun's application process lacked an online upload feature, leading to longer processing times and user frustration. We improved the system with progress indicators and document upload steps, allowing users to submit applications and email pending documents later. Technical and business limitations hindered the creation of user accounts for saving progress and files.
For this project, I had to create a scalable design system from scratch as there were no old components or documentation available. This was definitely a time consuming task but ended up to be extremely rewarding as it taught me so much.
This design system is confidential and can thus not be shared in my portfolio but I would love to give you to give you a better insight regarding the whole process if you're interested.
